TerVida – Xperience is more than just a retreat – it’s a journey.
In the beautiful surroundings of TerVida’s botanic garden, there are two hidden holiday homes which will give you everything you could wish for. You´ll be waken up in the morning with nature: birds, bees, flowers and trees. Your apartment in Maroc style is fully equiped with a kitchen, living room, bathroom and a doublebed. Our holiday homes are insolated and make it very comfortable to stay. Suitable for 2-3 persons. There´s an outside pool to refresh.
Benaciate village contains a restaurant, cafe, mini supermarket, cash machine and the busstop to Silves and Messines around the corner. The area of Benaciate is famous for its beautiful orange orchards.

Our DogXperience forest is a unique concept in the Algarve: the opportunities are endless!
Dogs and their handlers will be able to train physically as well as mentally improve all kinds of skills in their dogs. Dogs will learn balance and coordination in our natural Agility Course, they will improve their senses with our challenging exercises in the forest and they will learn how to solve puzzles. During opening hours, you´re free to spend your time in our forest with your special golden member ship. Enjoy the forest ambiance, take the adventurous track and walk around in the shade of our beautiful trees. Find all the hidden treasures which give your dog and you a lot of fun! Meet other dog owners, train together, relax and enjoy. Challenge your dog to work on different exercises.

At TerVida, we believe in the power of the earth — and in our responsibility to take care of it. That’s why TerVida Farming is a core part of our vision for sustainable and meaningful living.
On over 1 hectare of land, we’re creating an inspiring agricultural project where we work hand-in-hand with nature. In collaboration with experienced local partners, we plan to plant a unique and diverse mix of fruit trees, carefully selected for both flavor and ecological value.
We’re also setting up our own plant nursery, allowing us to grow trees and plants from the very beginning — with care, attention, and in full alignment with our values of sustainability and self-sufficiency.

My name is Michel, entrepreneur and living in the town São Bartolomeu de Messines (Algarve/ South of Portugal) since mid-2023. After 12+ years of being an entrepreneur in the Netherlands and Germany, I thought it was time to start pioneering again, “back to start” so to say.
With the experience that I have gained in the past 25+ years in practice, I started a new challenge in Portugal, namely setting up a non-profit organization “Quinta TerVida” with the theme “sustainability” as a common thread.
With TerVida I want to offer young entrepreneurial people who share my vision the opportunity to develop themselves. I guide and coach the young people and support them where necessary.
Within TerVida we want to let intrinsically motivated talent grow, both personally and professionally. We look for synergy, make connections and promote cooperation between the team members and the environment/market.
